PC Magik Lab
Running AI on real hardware

A YouTube series about running local AI models on real GPUs. Same prompt, same rig, one variable changed per test. Every model reloaded before every run. All prompts and result files published openly.

How We Measure

Same Prompt

Every test uses the exact same prompt to ensure consistent comparison.

Same Rig

All tests run on the same hardware configuration for fair comparison.

One Variable Changed

Only one parameter differs between tests to isolate the impact.

Model Reloaded

The model is reloaded before every run to ensure clean state.

All Results Published

Every prompt and result file is published openly for transparency.

Hardive

All tests performed on a single, consistent rig.

About PC Magik Lab

PC Magik Lab is a YouTube series by Mateusz Piekut, a computer service and homelab operator from Poland. The series explores the practical reality of running AI models on local, real GPU hardware.

Unlike cloud-based services, every episode tests actual model performance on physical hardware that's owned and operated locally. Each test uses the same prompt, the same rig, and only one variable changed — ensuring clear, comparable results.

Before every run, the model is reloaded to start from a clean state. All prompts and result files are published openly, allowing anyone to verify the results or replicate the tests themselves.
